# AMALGAM RECYCLING GUIDE

## Before you get started

**Let's make sure you've got everything you need to complete the change-out:**

Do you have a replacement collection container?

Do you already have a login and credentials for our customer portal - My Solutions Center?

## Step 1: Locate your replacement container and shipping box

Good News! The return shipping costs for recycling are pre-paid and included in the price of the container.

## Step 2: Change out your used container

- **DO NOT** turn the vacuum system off during the replacement procedure.
- Watch this 2-minute video for a demonstration of the change-out.
- Save all the packing materials that came with your new collection container; you'll need them to recycle the dirty container.

 Have the replacement collection container but missing the cardboard shipping box and cap kit? This kit can be reordered through our shop.

## Step 3: Print your shipping recycling label

- Log into [My Solutions Center.](https://my-solutions-center.solmetex.com/signin)
- Click on the “Print Recycling Label” button on the left side of the portal home screen.
- Select your product and enter the shipping code located on the container lid from the new container and click "Submit".
- Print the label and place it into the packing slip envelope.

## Step 4: Ship your container for recycling

- Remove the backing from the packing slip envelope and affix it to the box.
- Schedule a UPS pickup or drop the package off at the nearest UPS location as soon as possible.
